As one of the oldest plants in our recorded history, the Rose has become a well known symbol of various tellings. For The Rose Show put on by Lumenati Productions during 2024 in Denver, Colorado, I created 3 interpretations of the Rose as captured in the writings of Alexander Chee. With a focus on the romantic, my roses envision love as life force accompanying the tantalizing delights of this earthly garden.
